Privacy Policy

AlgoLens ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. What we collect

Account information: When you register, we collect your email address, name, and a password hash. We never store plaintext passwords.

Trading data: When you install our expert advisor, it sends your trade history to our servers — including trade open/close times, prices, volumes, magic numbers, and profit/loss. We do not receive your broker login credentials, account balance, or personal broker information.

Usage data: We collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This helps us diagnose issues and improve the product.

Payment data: Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data.

Contact submissions: If you contact us, we store your name, email, and message to respond to your inquiry.

2. How we use it

• To provide and improve the AlgoLens service
• To calculate analytics, metrics, and insights from your trading data
• To send transactional emails (account confirmations, subscription receipts)
• To respond to support requests
• To detect fraud and ensure security
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in.

3. Your trading data

Your trading data is private by default. It is visible only to you in your dashboard. If you choose to create a public sharing page, only the metrics you explicitly enable will be visible to others. You can delete your public page at any time.

We do not use your individual trading data to train AI models, benchmark against other traders without consent, or share with third parties for commercial purposes.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:

• Service providers: Companies that help us operate (hosting, payments, email delivery). They process data only under our instructions.
• Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect rights, property, or safety.
• Business transfers: If AlgoLens is acquired or merged, data may transfer to the new owner under equivalent protections.

5. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. If you cancel, your account becomes read-only and data is retained for 90 days, after which it is permanently deleted unless you request earlier deletion.

Some data may be retained longer where required by law (e.g., financial records).

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Object to certain processing

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, and access controls. Our expert advisor communicates exclusively over HTTPS.

No system is 100% secure. If you discover a security issue, please report it to security@algolens.ai.
